Monthly Archives: March 2011

I am going to post a picture everyday for the months of March (well, what’s left of it), April and May. It will be a way of me opening my eyes and capturing the little everyday things in my life that i take for granted and let pass me by. By the end of the project i will put all of these images into an album just for me, just because…

Day 3.

If i’m honest today sucked. I had a killer migraine and spent the day in bed- I am just soooo glad i am over it now. So, my photo today has been limited to whats in my apartment! I decided to go with something that is bright and inspiring…..a photo of some beautiful tulips i was given earlier this week. They make me happy everytime i see them.

So, here we go….

Day one.

In case you don’t know i am a Brit. I moved here (to sunny Manly that is) almost three years ago with my husband. I am still in complete awe of this gorgeous place that we live in, and love that i am  lucky enough to be able to call it my home. One thing i love about Manly is watching the palm trees as they become silhouettes against the colourful sky at sunset. I have a real thing for palm trees- they are still such a novelty to me!! (did i mention i was English?!). So, anyway i took this picture tonight on my way home. This sums up my love of living in this beautiful country. Photo taken using Hipstamtic iphone app.

Have a happy evening!

I couldn’t resist sharing this photo with you. I was out in Manly this evening enjoying an al fresco style dinner at the food market when i noticed everyone  pointing up at the sky….and then i saw it- the most vibrant amazing rainbow i have ever seen. Then as quickly as it appeared it disappeared. The picture just doesn’t do it justice but i had to blog it anyway!

I got to shoot this lovely family at their home recently. There was lots of fun to be had jumping on beds, singing songs and generally being silly! Oh how I would love to be a child again 🙂
