I hope this post finds you well.
Sooo, it’s been a little while since i have blogged a large post- so heres a mammoth one for you!
For the last month i have been overseas visiting my loved ones in the Uk and beyond….and yikes it was busy! Fabulous, but very busy!
In three and a half weeks i visited Hertfordshire (where i was born and bred), The Isle of Wight (where my mum lives), London (to see my chums), Brighton (for a daytrip with my bestie- very cool place), Edingburgh (to photograph my friends wedding and to be maid of honor- which took multitasking to a whole new level! ) and France to visit my Uncle and Aunt.
I also celebrated my 33rd year in this world, and my little sisters 30th, I met my absolutly gorgeous niece and nephew for the first time ( sooo exciting!!) and of course i did heaps of shopping -seriously, loads.
To say that i was in shopping utopia would be an understatement.
The only thing that stopped me from purchasing more was
The state of my bank account by the end of my sprees…
That my luggage allowance was a meesley twenty three kilos.
So i thought that today i would post the photos that i took from my trip to beautiful picturesque France!
My Uncle and Aunt have a gorgeous holiday home in a charming little part of the world called Limoge. Their sweet house is nestled in a hamlet- and around a twenty minute drive to the nearest shop- it’s very secluded and peaceful and they are surrounded by beauty- it was heaven!
Our days were spent walking through pine forests, searching for mushrooms (not much luck there), soaking up the warm hazey sunshine, raspberry picking, eating wonderful food, drinking very nice wine, indulging in what the local pattiseries had to offer, and visiting the city of Limoge. I also got to meet some of the local folks – one lady in particular was very happy to have her photo taken which made me smile.
So here are my happy memories…i can’t wait to go back again one day soon.
